Mrs Merkel's Message to Europe: Screw The People

Europe's future is in the balance.  And German politicians know this. They also  want to stay on top of the key decisions.  But first they need to keep on top of their own voters. While Greece has been back in the headlines there has been a much less reported propaganda campaign going on within Germany aimed at winning voters over to the idea that Mrs Merkel is right on Europe. Merkel thinks she can use Germany alone as a bulwark for her policies. I doubt she is right.

Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras was meeting with Hollande in Paris as part of his country's push to win more time to carry out wrenching cuts to avert fiscal crisis.
